Pray, Brother, Pray

When your load is heavy and things go wrong,
Pray, brother, pray.
When there is no joy and you have no song,
Bow down your head and pray.
When Satan tempts as he sure will do,
Pray, brother, pray.
Put your trust in God; He'll pull you through.
Bow down your head and pray.
When the way is dark and you see no light,
Pray, brother, pray.
Take it all to the Lord; He will make it right,
Bow down your head and pray,

And pray, and pray, and pray, and pray your troubles away,
Believe on the Lord, and trust in His word,
And pray your troubles away.
Our Savior was born in a land faraway.
Pray, brother, pray.
The glory of God came down that day.
Bow down your head and pray.
He left with us one great command.
Pray, brother, pray.
"Go; preach My word to every land."
Bow down your head and pray.
He also had these words to say.
Pray, brother, pray.
"Whosoever will, come with me and stay."
Bow down your head and pray.

You know when the Savior went away.
Pray, brother, pray.
He left a debt we must repay.
Bow down your head and pray.
We must be ready when He calls our name.
Pray, brother, pray,
For Jesus said, "I will come again."
Bow down your head and pray,
Our Lord is mighty, and He is just.
Pray, brother, pray.
If we get to Heaven, we surely must
Bow down our heads and pray.
