Where the Living Waters Flow

From this dry and thirsty land,
Disease and death on every hand.
I am longing; yes, I'm longing now to go
Where my Savior I shall see,
And give thanks to know that He
Leads me to a land where living waters flow.

Oh, I'm longing there to be,
Where my Savior waits for me.
I'm longing; yes, I'm longing there to go.
When these dreary days are past,
And I'm safe at home at last
In those lands where the living waters flow

What joy it is to know,
I've a place that I can go.
If I'm longing, keep on longing, there to go.
With my Lord there I shall be,
And He'll say, "Come live with me
In that land where the living waters flow."

When my race on earth is run
I meet the Father and His Son....
I'm longing; yes, I'm longing there to go.
All the love that I possess
For the peace and happiness
I'll find in the land where the living waters flow.

Oh, I thank Him for that day
When He took my sins away.
I am longing; yes, I'm longing more to know
Of that land of pure delight
Where the angels dressed in white
Dwell in that land where the living waters flow.

John 7:37-38
Guide me on, my dear Lord
Keeping faith with all Thy word,
I am longing; yes, I'm longing now to go.
Let me travel on that way
Lead me closer every day.
To the land where the living waters flow.

Where the fountains freely flow
Where the tree of life does grow,
I am longing! I'm longing, and I'll go
To that loveliest of lands.
There with Christ I'll take my stand,
Forever live in lands where living waters flow.
