Yes, Jesus may come tomorrow
To take away all of my sorrow.
I must heed what I say
And make ready today,
For Jesus may come tomorrow.
He may come in the darkest hour of night
Or the early hours of the morning.
Lord, keep me awake and walking right.
There will be no final warning.
His spirit will not strive or give
The time I may need to borrow.
He wants me ready and willing to serve
And go when He comes tomorrow.
He tells me I must walk each day
In paths that are straight and narrow.
He will take me on to glory land,
The land of the bright tomorrow.
